Lecto Escritura – Level 3, Book 1 is a Spanish reading and writing book for children aged 9–11 who can already read and write. Its goal is literacy with more challenge: children read longer texts, write more independently and gain accuracy, fluency and confidence in written Spanish.

In this book, children read and write about their everyday world (school, food, pets and the things they carry) and then travel through the cultures of the Hispanic world: its celebrations, food and countries in South America, Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Spain.
